ABOUT
Brett Burgs is an associate at Gottlieb & Greenspan where he represents medical providers in reimbursement disputes with insurance carriers in state and federal court. His primary focus involves state and federal litigation resulting from the non-payment of arbitration awards issued in connection with the federal No Surprises Act.
Prior to joining the firm, Brett worked as an associate at a Consumer Advocacy firm representing defendants, and as an associate at a Class Action and Complex Civil Litigation firm representing plaintiffs. Brett graduated from Boston University in 2011, Florida International University in 2013, and Suffolk University Law School in 2020. He is admitted to practice law in the States of Connecticut, Florida and New Jersey, as well as the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut.
