Paul M. Grunert

ABOUT

Paul Grunert is an associate at the firm, representing healthcare providers in state and federal civil litigation. Paul’s litigation experience focuses on out-of-network provider reimbursement issues, with a particular emphasis on disputes pertaining to the Federal No Surprises Act. Paul also represents in-network providers in contractual disputes, recoupment actions, and various other matters. In addition to his role as a litigation attorney, Paul handles many of the firm’s regulatory, compliance, and corporate transaction matters, drawing on his prior experience as a corporate healthcare attorney.

Paul attended Ramapo College of New Jersey in Mahwah, where he graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in Law and Society and History, as well as College Honors. He then attended New England Law, graduating in 2023 with a concentration in business and tax law.

Prior to joining Gottlieb & Greenspan, Paul worked as a corporate attorney for a New York-based firm, focusing on business formation, governance, and M&A transactions. He is admitted to practice law in the State of New Jersey, the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
