ABOUT
Michael Gottlieb concentrates his practice on the representation of medical providers in reimbursement disputes with commercial health insurance carriers. Catering to both in-network and out-of-network providers, Michael represents hospital systems, surgeons, ambulatory surgical centers, hospices, and medical billing companies, among other specialties. He has achieved hundreds of successful outcomes through state and federal litigation, arbitration and mediation.
While Michael’s practice primarily focuses on payment disputes, he also routinely advises his clients to help streamline reimbursement procedures and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. He has been quoted by Bloomberg News in connection with his representation of breast reconstruction surgeons, and has been recognized by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star.
Michael graduated from Touro College in 2009, and Seton Hall University School of Law in 2013. He is admitted to practice law in the States of New York and New Jersey, as well as The United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and the United States District for the District of New Jersey.
